we are nomadic radio community / eco-system / platform

tongues and tones exists to let language be heard as sound before it's understood as meaning and to let sound itself tell stories that need no language at all. we collect voices, dialects, dying languages, mistakes, poetry, field recordings, music, and silence from wherever people are making sound. and let them travel, untranslated, to wherever people are listening. this is a place for sound-based storytelling, spoken or wordless, where improvisation and mistake are always welcome.
